How do I purchase an image?
Add the preferred image to your shopping cart which has a unique coding. Once I received the email I will in turn send you my bank details & an invoice for the images purchased. Once payment has been received I will send the printed images via a reliable courier service.
Is the photograph sent in a frame?
No, all images are sent without a frame. The image is printed on either photographic paper or canvas. All prints will be sent by post/courier without a frame. The costs exclude all postage/courier charges, which will be quoted separately. The print is rolled up & packaged into a tube to avoid damage.
How is an image printed? / When is the photograph posted or couriered?
Image/s will be sent by a courier/speed post within 3-5 business days of receipt of full payment. Prints are sent via courier or speed post depending on location. Please note that the delivery costs are extra & are not included in the image price.
What type of paper do you use for printing?
All photographs are printed in a professional photo lab. They are printed either on Premium Luster Photo Paper, Premium Satin Canvas Aluminum or Wood, which are the best media for fine art reproduction and which guarantees highest resolution and color saturation possible. Also note that the photos are printed on water resistant archival paper using inks that last 200 years, as long as they are kept indoors & away from direct sunlight.
How do you deliver the image/s for publication or web use?
Image files will be delivered via email/dropbox/wetransfer where possible or by other means suitable for your needs. Images will be sized and formatted to meet your specific requirements once payment has been made & a contract signed by both parties.
If I like a color image but prefer a print in sepia or Black & White, is this possible?
This is not a problem. The image chosen can be converted & printed using a sepia, black & white or any monochrome tone desired.
If I buy a print, do any proceeds go to conservation?
Yes, by purchasing a print, part of the proceeds will go directly towards Conservation workgroups that I work with closely.
How are payments made?
Payments to be made via bank transfers (EFT – Electronic Fund Transfers). Bank details shall be provided once a sale has been concluded between both parties & contracts signed. I am in the process of setting up a pay pal system in the near future to cater for credit card/debit cards. For now, it will only work through a bank transfer.
Are your images available for publishing?
Yes, all my images are available for publishing for print media (magazines, catalogues, brochures, calendars, postcards, books, billboard etc.), websites & other promotions. Rates are based on usage (type of publication, size of image, duration of usage etc.), the quantity of images purchased and the utility of the image. Picture editors or researchers wishing to license use of one of my images can do so by emailing me directly or via the image enquiry form. Simply quote the image reference when enquiring.
Are your images copyrighted? / Are there any rights issues on your images?
Yes, all materials contained on this website are protected by copyright law & may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published or broadcast without prior written permission from me. My images are offered for sale on a Rights Managed Basis and a license fee must be paid for each separate use. An image license grants one-time, non-exclusive use in a specific publication or web domain. If interested in exclusive use, please contact me.
How many prints are produced per image under your fine art prints gallery?
Only 50 prints per image will be produced. They will be numbered & autographed by me
